Pape Matar Sarr has agreed personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur and has undergone his medical, according to Football Insider.
The report claims that the 18-year-old had his medical in France over the course of the weekend and will sign a six-year contract with the North Londoners.
As part of the agreement, Sarr will remain at Metz for the duration of the current campaign, having featured in all three of their opening Ligue 1 fixtures (transfermarkt).
Metz president Bernard Serin revealed yesterday (Amazon / Evening Standard) that he is in advanced talks with Tottenham over a deal for Sarr, with more discussions planned for the beginning of this week.
Spurs are said to have beaten the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to land the Senegalese international.

Sarr is one of the brightest young talents in France and a true box-to-box player. With doubts over the future of Tanguy Ndombele, he could prove to be the long-term replacement for the Frenchman.
The Premier League is a significant step up in quality, however, another season in Ligue 1 playing regular football can only benefit him ahead of his expected switch to Spurs.
