Le 10 Sport journalist, Alexis Bernard, has reported that Tottenham Hotspur have not yet agreed personal terms in the deal to sign Pape Matar Sarr from Metz this summer.

The report claims that Spurs have reached a €30m (£25.7m) fee with the French club, including bonuses, and there is total agreement on that front. These bonuses are also said to be easily achieved, making the full €30m the likely fee.

Sarr will be loaned back to Metz for the current campaign, but the player himself has yet to agree on personal terms with Tottenham.

There are still discussions between the North London club and Sarr’s representatives and they will look to come to some sort of agreement before the transfer deadline closes at the end of the month.

Foot Mercato journalist, Santi Aouna reported earlier this week that Sarr had already passed his medical ahead of a potential transfer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It seems strange that a medical would have been complete before personal terms. In fact, personal terms are also usually done before or alongside the fee negotiations so I’m not sure I quite believe those details. £25.7m also seems rather high.
