TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR have re-entered the race to sign Richard Dunne, according to The Sun.
The Manchester City central defender is being tipped to leave the City of Manchester Stadium as Mark Hughes continues to persue his interest in John Terry and Joleon Lescott.
Dunne, 29, was expected to join Sunderland in a £5million deal, but Hughes wants to land a replacement before letting the Republic of Irish international depart.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has been a long-term admirer of Dunne and nearly signed him at Portsmouth last season, until City offered him a new £55,000-a-week contract.
