James Maddison was heard praising the facilities at Hotspur Way when he and his England teammates arrived at the training ground earlier this week.
While the England team are usually based at St George’s Park, they frequently also use Hotspur Way to prepare for matches, given the world-class facilities available.
The likes of Maddison and England captain Harry Kane are, of course, no strangers to the Enfield training base and the attacking midfielder was beaming with pride when he and his teammates arrived at the centre.
Maddison is already Spurs through and through
Maddison, who started for the Three Lions in their win over Australia, was heard praising the facilities in the latest Inside Access video released on England’s YouTube channel.
The camera caught the Spurs star saying: “some gaff this is, isn’t it, Tottenham Hotspur complex.”

It is brilliant to see how quickly Maddison has developed a sense of belonging at Spurs, with the midfielder very much wearing his heart on his sleeve from the day he walked through the door in the summer.
