SPANISH striker Fernando Llorente has become the latest player to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The News of the World report that Harry Redknapp has targeted the £12million 6ft 4in forward as a replacement for Roman Pavyluchenko, who is expected to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
Llorente, 24, is currently playing his football for Athletic Bilbao, where his form last season earned him a call-up to the Spanish squad for the Confederations Cup squad late last month, and he is said to be keen on a switch to the Premiership.
Tottenham have already missed out on Roque Santa Cruz who has joined Manchester City, with Redknapp keen to bring in a powerful targetman to compliment Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane.
Meanwhile, Darren Bent is expected to complete a move to Sunderland this week.
