Yves Bissouma has passed his Tottenham medical ahead of a move to North London, according to Sky Sports News.
The report claims that Spurs will pay an initial £25m to Brighton, which could increase to £35m if all the included performance-related add-ons are met.
Bissouma will meet up with Antonio Conte at Hotspur Way during pre-season, joining the current ranks of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Harry Winks in midfield.
Across his four years at Brighton, Bissouma has arguably become one of the most consistent and effective holding midfielders in the Premier League, with an emphasis on his ability to break up play and drive forward with the ball at his feet.
Bissouma becomes Conte and Tottenham’s third signing of the summer after both Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster were signed on free transfers.

Spurs Web Opinion:
Conte clearly wants an extra player or two to fill those central midfield slots so he can play either a two or a three in the engine room. Bissouma is an extremely well-rounded player, which makes him perfectly suited to that role.
