In what comes as a rather surprising story, Aksam have claimed that Fenerbahce have identified Yves Bissouma as a summer transfer target.

Bissouma did not hit the expected heights in his first season at Tottenham following his move from Brighton 12 months ago but the 26-year-old will be hoping to show Spurs fans the best version of himself this season.

Reports have indicated that the former Seagulls star has won over Ange Postecoglou and his coaching staff in the early weeks of pre-season (Football.London).

Fenerbahce want to sign Tottenham midfield starter

Bizarrely, Aksman have now suggested that Bissouma could potentially be on his out of the North London club just a year on from signing for the side.

It is asserted that Fenerbahce have identified the Tottenham man as a target and have already ‘started work’ to bring him to Istanbul.

The report adds that the Turkish side have made contact with the Mali international’s agent and will soon submit an offer for his services.

Askman explain that Fenerbahce are trying to sign Bissouma on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

Spurs Web Opinion

This is a bizarre story as there is no way that Tottenham would consider letting Bissouma leave, especially on loan.

The midfielder appears quite determined to prove himself this season. Even in the odd chance that he does move, there is no reason for him to consider moving to Turkey at this stage of his career.
