El Crack Deportivo have reported that Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur is on the radar of several top clubs around Europe.

Since his arrival at Tottenham a year ago, Bentancur has quickly established himself as one of Antonio Conte’s most important players.

The 24-year-old did not arrive with much fanfare back in January of this year, having struggled for regular game time towards the end of his time at Juventus, but he has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.

In fact, one can make the case that the Uruguayan has not just been one of Tottenham’s best players this season but also one of the most consistent midfielders across the Premier League.

The midfielder, who has found the back of the net five times this season, also showed glimpses of his class at the World Cup, with Uruguay disappointingly crashing out in the group stages.

El Crack Deportivo have now revealed that Bentancur’s displays have not gone unnoticed by the biggest clubs in Europe. The publication asserts that the Spurs star is ‘now desired by’ Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Spurs Web Opinion

There is zero chance that Tottenham would entertain any offers for Bentancur. Given that the midfielder is contracted to the club until 2026, Spurs will be quite relaxed about the 24-year-old’s future even if he is attracting the attention of the likes of Real Madrid.
