According to Football League World, four Championship clubs have contacted Tottenham over the potential signing of Dilan Markanday on loan in January.
The 20-year-old has been thriving for Spurs U23s in the Premier League 2 this season, tallying an impressive 10 goals and four assists in 11 appearances.
His performances captured the attention of the club’s first-team staff earlier this term, which earned him his senior debut in the 1-0 defeat to Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League.
Markanday has not appeared in the Spurs squad since his debut, which has left the club with a decision to make regarding his progress for the rest of the campaign.
However, Football League World claim Spurs have been contacted by Championship sides Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers, who are all registering their interest in the forward ahead of a possible loan move in January.
The report claims Spurs could be willing to allow Markanday to depart the club this winter in a bid to further his development in a senior environment.

While Markanday is thriving for the reserves, this could be a good move for himself and Spurs as it will allow him to gain vital experience in a first-team environment. The club has typically had mixed results from loan moves in the past though, so they will have to be wary of that.
