Former Tottenham striker Mido has admitted that he was not a fan of the kit the Lilywhites were wearing against Newcastle yesterday.
Tottenham’s third kit this season features quite a unique design, with the prints and patterns being inspired by eight local creatives on the topic of what N17 means to them.
NIKE also previously revealed the design of the kit, which has a purple and teal base and graphics that range from the industrial to the artistic, was synthesized through training workshops with Tottenham Textiles.
The Lilywhites wore their third kit for the first time in the Premier League at St James’ Park yesterday.
The away side also put in what was arguably their most impressive showing of the campaign, with the final 3-2 scoreline actually flattering Newcastle.
The performance would have encouraged Nuno Espirito Santo, with the win taking his side to fifth in the Premier League table.
However, Mido took to social media to admit that he was annoyed by the kit that his former side were wearing.
I don’t like this #spurs away kit..it’s so annoying to watch!! Anyone feels the same? #COYS #NewcastleTakeover

While I am not a big fan of the third kit, what I found particularly annoying yesterday was the fact that the colours did not contrast with that of Newcastle’s. So, the game was a little difficult to watch at times.
