The transfer window is always a mixed bag with various headlines linking players with here there and every were.
However rather intriguingly as a Tottenham fan you might take notice that two major betting firms have dropped odds quite considerably on the possibility that England Captain Harry Kane could make a sensational move to Manchester United this summer.
So many “sources” feed so many stories so much that it can get rather confusing, however it is quite alarming that Kane’s odds to join Jose Mourinho’s side have been slashed from 33/1 to just 4/1.
Kane has been consistently linked linked with a mega-money transfer to Real Madrid however major players in the bookies market, Betfair and Paddy Power, are offering odds of just 4/1 for Kane to be a United player once the transfer shuts.
It is not clear whether they are taking in to account that Kane signed a new six-year contract with Spurs just last month to see him earn £200,000 a week plus bonuses so perhaps that has conveniently passed them by.
But contracts tend to be worthless nowadays and whether we like it or not such a drop in odds will raise a few eyebrows.
