The Daily Mail have claimed that Manchester United are willing to listen to offers in the region of £45m for rumoured Tottenham target Jadon Sancho.
Tottenham’s interest in Sancho first came to light earlier this month when The Daily Star suggested that the North London club were ready to test the waters with a £50m offer for the England international.
The report claimed that Erik Ten Hag’s men would be open to cashing in on the winger this summer for the right price.
Tottenham are not alone in their admiration for Sancho, with Football Transfers reporting two weeks ago that Aston Villa are also monitoring the United player’s situation.
Man Utd would be willing to talk about Sancho sale
The Mail have now offered an update on the former Borussia Dortmund star’s situation, explaining that the Red Devils are not forcing the player out this summer and are happy for him to stay and fight for his place.
However, it is explained that United are ready to listen to offers for Sancho, with a bid in the region of £45m needed to bring Erik Ten Hag’s men to the negotiating table.
Spurs Web Opinion
Sancho would be a perfect fit for Postecoglou’s system and I would be extremely surprised if Tottenham do not test the waters with an offer for the winger if it is true that United are willing to sell him for £45m.
The 23-year-old has the required quality to push for a starting spot and keep Son and Kulusevski on their toes.
