Tottenham Hotspur star Oliver Skipp has been named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for September.
The 18-year-old has impressed during his time in the U23 competition so far this season, scooping up the award after being named on a nine-man shortlist last week.
Skipp impressed during Tottenham’s US pre season tour in the summer, and has been named on the bench a number of times this season.
The teenager even made the substitutes against Barcelona in the Champions League last Wednesday.
Skipp also captained the Tottenham side in their Checkatrade Trophy game against Gillingham on Tuesday night, a game Spurs won 4-0.
He also featured in our UEFA Youth League opener earlier in the month.
Skipp and Luke Amos appear to be Pochettino’s shining lights this season at Tottenham, and the gaffer will be hoping they can follow in the footsteps of Harry Winks and Harry Kane.
Congrats Oliver!
Congratulations to Oliver Skipp who has been named September's #PL2 Player of the Month! ?
