Football Insider have claimed that Atletico Madrid are now ‘closing in’ on a deal to sign Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Earlier this week, we relayed a report from 90 min, which suggested that Spurs are now looking to finalise Hojbjerg’s sale to Atletico.
The report claimed that the La Liga side are willing to offer £30m for the Dane, which falls £10m short of what Tottenham were demanding, but the Lilywhites were willing to relax their demands.

Hojbjerg transfer to Atletico is now close
If Football Insider’s latest update is to be believed, Hojbjerg is now ‘closing in’ on a switch to the Metropolitano Stadium, according to sources close to the deal.
The report adds that Atletico only have to complete the ‘formalities of the deal’ before the former Southampton man seals a switch to the Spanish capital.
