Tottenham’s third kit for the upcoming 2017-18 season may already be on sale despite not yet officially being released, according to Football.London, who believe the reported new kit leak might just be accurate.
In the modern day, for football clubs it is very difficult to keep a secret, especially with kit releases, given the constant conveyor belt of images popping up online.
Back in July, many websites thought they had stumbled across Tottenham’s third kit months before it’s release with images surfacing online of a dark purple, camouflage shirt that donned the familiar Spurs crest and sponsor.
Now, a month later and a similar image has appeared on Football.London of an almost identical shirt in what seems to be possibly a shop storage room among numerous other sporting attire.
The report claims that Tottenham’s third kit for the 2017-18 Premier League season may be on sale despite no confirmation from the club of an official release.
The shirt bears a strong resemblance to the shirt leaked in July, but whether or not this kit will be in use during Tottenham’s upcoming Premier League campaign is yet to be seen.
Spurs kick off their season at Newcastle’s St James’ Park on Sunday, where Spurs will be keen to avenge the 5-1 drubbing they received on their previous visit.
What do you make of this season’s kits? Do you think the move to Nike has been a good move? Or are you disappointed with the release?
