Ange Postecoglou has been named the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for August following Tottenham Hotspur’s unbeaten start to their league campaign.
Postecoglou had plenty of work to do when he arrived at Tottenham during the summer, with Spurs coming off their worst finish in the league in well over a decade having missed out on European qualification.
Additionally, there was a divide growing between the club and the fan base, and he also had to deal with the challenge of losing Harry Kane just a few days before the start of the campaign after the striker joined Bayern Munich.
Despite all these roadblocks, Postecoglou has almost instantly managed to transform Spurs’ style of play, with the team now playing a high-intensity, possession-based brand of football, in contrast to their dull counter-attacking approach for the last three seasons.
Ange Postecoglou named Premier League Manager of the Month
The Lilywhites have picked up ten points from their first four league games of the season, having found the back of the net 11 times while conceding just four.
The Australian has deservedly been voted the Manager of the Month after making an excellent start to his Premier League career.

This is fully deserved for Postecoglou, who has been a breath of fresh air, not just to Spurs but to the entire Premier League. While tougher tests are yet to come for the 58-year-old, it is quite remarkable how quickly he has managed to get the players to fully understand their roles within his system.
