According to the latest reports from Italy, Tottenham Hotspur hold a serious interest in Juventus defender Radu Dragusin, whose contract at the club runs out at the end of the current season.
There has been no secret made of the fact that Jose Mourinho wishes to add a central defender to his squad this month, with the likes of Sergio Ramos and Milan Skriniar being mentioned as potential targets for the club.
With just days left until the transfer window closes, some other lesser-known names have been linked with a move to the North London club including Dragusin.
SportItalia journalist Gianluigi Longari stated last week that Tottenham, Newcastle and RB Leipzig have all enquired about the 18-year-old, who is yet to sign a new deal with Juve despite the Italian giants wanting him to commit his future to the club.
CalicoMercato onreveals that Juve are confident of keeping the Romanian starlet at the club and that they will hold talks with the youngster’s representatives over a new deal in the coming days.
While the report claims that Leipzig have already presented an offer to Dragusin’s agent, it is suggested that Tottenham have also conducted ‘much more than a survey’ on the Romanian Under-21 international’s availability.

We already have talented young centre-backs in our squad in Tanganga and Rodon, who both have the potential to develop into top players. What Spurs need is a more experienced campaigner who can organise the backline. I would be surprised if Dragusin fits the profile of player Mourinho is looking to add to the squad.
