Several of Tottenham Hotspur youngsters who featured in the 3-0 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday have taken to social media to express their delight at being involved.
The Lilywhites could not have hoped for a better start to their pre-season as they saw off Paul Lambert’s side courtesy of three first-half goals.
After racing into a 3-0 lead, the game resembled a training ground exercise rather than a competitive fixture, with the home side effortlessly knocking the ball around.
Jose Mourinho made a whole host of changes in the second half, with several of Tottenham’s academy graduates getting an opportunity to show what they can do.
The likes of Dennis Cirkin, Jamie Bowden, Ryan Sessegnon and Dane Scarlett all took to social media after the win. The young guns will surely be hoping that Mourinho hands them more chances to impress this pre-season.

Spurs Web Opinion
While one cannot read too much into a performance against a League One side, there were many positive signs that would have pleased Mourinho. We looked defensively well-drilled while also not lacking in creativity. It will be interesting to see whether the back five we played on Saturday was a temporary measure or something we are likely to see more of next season.
