The Daily Mirror have detailed the world-class facilities that the England squad are enjoying in Myddelton Lodge at Hotspur Way after deciding to change their training base.
After England’s 0-0 draw against Scotland, the Three Lions decided to change their training base from St Georges’ Park to Tottenham’s training complex.
The Myddelton Lodge was made three years ago and the training base is not open to the public, with the accommodation only available to elite teams for their preparation camps, previously being used by Brazil ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The complex reportedly has 40 rooms with a 100 per cent noise cancellation system installed in each one, with the beds in each room fitted with mattresses designed to maximise sleep while the lighting also changes temperature due to the time of day.
The training base also comes with a plush gym with massage beds, a yoga gym, a spa, and an altitude chamber.
Additionally, in order to help players relax, the facility also has a cinema screen with games consoles, a fire pit and an Argentinian barbecue, while there are sun loungers and bean bags in the communal garden area.
It is said that England hope the change in scenery will help to change the mood around camp ahead of their clash against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
