Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up towards a return to Premier League action later this month, as a number of World Cup stars return to first-team training.
Ben Davies and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg were among the returnees this week and took part in sessions at Hotspur Way over the past 48 hours.
Training photos showed Yves Bissouma, Oliver Skipp, Alfie Whiteman, Brandon Austin, Japhet Tanganga, Matt Doherty, Clement Lenglet, Bryan Gil, Harvey White, Emerson Royal, Djed Spence, Pape Matar Sarr, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Dejan Kulusevski, Ryan Sessegnon, and Lucas Moura at Hotspur Way.
This comes after Moura, Sessegnon, Emerson, and Lenglet all missed the friendly against Motherwell as a precaution (Football London). Heung-min Son was also pictured back in training in a Tottenham Instagram reel today.
Tottenham are next in action on December 21 when they take on Nice in a mid-season friendly, ahead of their return to competitive action on Boxing Day against Brentford in the Premier League.

It’s good to see those players with knocks still training at Hotspur Way, so it should be a near-full squad for the Boxing Day match against Brentford. Fingers crossed Hugo Lloris and Cristian Romero come through their remaining games without injury.
