The Daily Mail have claimed that some Tottenham players look set to return to training at Hotspur Way from tomorrow.
The first-team area at the club’s training ground has been shut down following an outbreak of Covid-19 at the club last week.
Spurs’ Europa Conference League clash against Rennes and their Premier League clash against Brighton were both called off, with the club’s match against Leicester on December 16 also reportedly in doubt.
Football.London claimed on Saturday that Spurs are waiting for the results of another round of testing conducted over the weekend before making a decision on when to open the first-team section of Hotspur Way.
The Daily Mail have now revealed that If those results are negative, the National Institute for Health Protection will allow the training ground to be reopened.
The unaffected first-team players could be set return to the training ground as early as tomorrow.
In addition, it is explained that Tottenham are hopeful that they would be able to fulfill their Premier League fixture at Leicester on Thursday.

This is very good news for Spurs as having their clash against Leicester also postponed following the Burnley and Brighton fixtures would have resulted in a massive fixture pile up over the resulting weeks and months. Hopefully, the results of the tests conducted over the weekend are encouraging.
