Jonathan Veal has revealed that two of the Tottenham players who tested positive for COVID-19 last week were back in training at Hotspur Way today.
The first-team section of Tottenham’s training centre was closed down last week due to an outbreak of the virus at the club.
Reports emerged this morning that there had been an additional positive test among the first-team squad.
Football.London revealed that despite the additional positive test, Antonio Conte did return to the training ground today along with some members of his squad.
It was also explained that Spurs remain hopeful that the first-team section at Hotspur Way will be fully functional over the coming days provided the results of further rounds of tests are promising.
Veal has now also taken to social media to confirm that some players were put through their paces at Hotspur Way today, including two players who had initially tested positive for the virus.

Let us hope that closing off the first-team training facility has arrested the spread of the virus and that there are no additional positive cases over the coming days. Conte will likely want as many members of his squad as possible to work with over the next couple of days if Tottenham’s clash against Leicester is indeed going to go ahead.
