Spurs star Dejan Kulusevski has spoken about the incredible pre-season he and his teammates are enjoying under Antonio Conte, and described the tour of South Korea as an experience he will remember forever.
In an interview with TottenhamHotspur.com, the Swedish international paid tribute to the wonderful level of support that the club witnessed in Seoul. A recent report from Football.London revealed that around 12 million Koreans call themselves Spurs fans.
Kulusevski missed the first friendly against Team K-League due to injury concerns, but returned for the game against Sevilla. This is the young winger’s first tour with the club since joining from Juventus in January.
The attacker had a massive impact on the pitch for Spurs last season and was integral to the push for Champions League football, contributing five goals and eight assists in the second half of the campaign (Transfermarkt).
On the pre-season tour, Kulusevski said: “It was amazing here. It’s going to be a memory for the whole of my life.
“They are fantastic people here, and it’s a fantastic country. I hope we’ll be back. It’s been amazing on tour, coming closer to the team and having a lot of fun.”
Kulusevski also spoke of the competitive atmosphere going into these pre-season games: “It didn’t feel like a friendly, it felt more like an important Champions League game!
“Right now, in football, everyone wants to win – every training session, every day. We’re working a lot, but still, we have to perform in these matches.”

It sounds like Kulusevski is loving life with the club, and hopefully, he can replicate his form from last season in the upcoming campaign.
