FotoSpor have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to send scouts to Turkey later this month to watch centre-back Victor Nelsson in action.
Nelsson was linked with a move to Spurs all through the summer transfer window (Takvim) but he stayed put at Galatasaray, with the North London club signing Micky van de Ven to strengthen their backline.
It was reported by Akşam last week that Tottenham continue to have their eye on the Dane, who is valued by Galatasaray at €30m (£26m).
Spurs expected to watch Nelsson in action
If FotoSpor’s latest update is to be believed, Tottenham are one of a whole host of clubs expected to send scouts to Turkey to watch Nelsson in action against Bayern Munich on October 24th.
The report states that scouts from five other Premier League sides are also expected to be in attendance at RAMS Park for that clash to watch various players.
The publication claims that Spurs might also keep an eye on the performance of right-back Sacha Boey, adding that the Lilywhites can pay ‘serious amounts’ to sign the Galatasaray duo.
Spurs Web Opinion
This seems like guesswork from FotoSpor about which player Tottenham will be scouting in that game. While Spurs do need a centre-back, the club would likely want to sign someone of a higher calibre than Nelsson.
