Watford winger Ismaila Sarr will not demand a move away from the newly-promoted club this transfer window (Watford Observer).
EuroSport reported last week that Tottenham Hotspur had expressed their interest in signing the 23-year-old this summer.
The report also suggested that Watford have labelled Sarr as ‘not for sale’ and it would therefore cost any potential buyer close to £50m to pull off a transfer.
Spurs’ interest in the winger is no surprise given how new manager Nuno Espirito Santo has set out his team so far with the wide forwards always looking to attack space with their pace.
The speedster had a great return to the Premier League last week, scoring a goal in Watford’s impressive 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old is fresh off scoring 13 goals and grabbing 10 assists in the Championship last year to lead Watford into an automatic promotion spot.
If Sarr continues this fine form in the Premier League, the winger will only gain more interest.

Sarr is a fantastic talent who is turning his raw ability into consistent output. He would also fit Nuno’s style of play. In today’s market, if he has a good season in the Premier League – his value will blow through the roof. So, taking a punt at a large fee this summer could make sense.
