Nuno Espirito Santo has provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-Watford press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Nunoo answering questions prior to the Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Pre-match press conferences continue to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform with journalists still not able to attend Hotspur Way in person in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is still sidelined following the injury he suffered during the first leg of the Conference League tie against Pacos de Ferreira, while Joe Rodon is also not ready to return after picking up a problem in the cool-down following the win over Manchester City.

The Spurs boss also revealed that all the players who featured against Pacos de Ferreira went through recovery and did a good training session, implying there were no further problems.

Nuno said (Football London): “We did the recovery with the players who were on the pitch. Did a good training session and preparing for the match against Watford. Joe still has problems, Cameron the same.”
