Tottenham host Watford tomorrow afternoon, aiming to make it three wins from three games in the Premier League in what has been an encouraging start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The new Spurs head coach has steered the side to 1-0 wins against Manchester City and Wolves respectively to start the new campaign.

Nuno has since received a massive boost after star striker Harry Kane confirmed his immediate future in north London, putting speculation of a move to Manchester City on temporary hold at least.

Watford, meanwhile, will be aiming to secure their status in the Premier League and picked up three points in their opening fixture against Aston Villa, but lost at Brighton last weekend.

Team News

After making his first start of the season against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday, Kane will likely retain his place in Nuno’s starting lineup. Spurs’ talisman picked up from where he left off last season, scoring twice against the Portuguese outfit.

Despite reportedly picking up a knock against Wolves last weekend, Heung-min Son is likely to come back into the side after coming off the bench in the win against Pacos.

Spurs will still be without Tanguy Ndombele after Nuno confirmed he will not be included in this weekend’s squad to face the Hornets. Joe Rodon will also miss out on the fixture with a quad injury.

Visitors, Watford will be hoping summer signing Juraj Kucka will be fit in time for Sunday, after the Slovakian missed last weekend’s defeat to Brighton with a thigh problem.

Goalkeeper Ben Foster has been ruled out of the fixture in north London with a hamstring injury, which he picked up during Watford’s Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace during midweek.

Joao Pedro remains sidelined until September with a knee injury, while Nathaniel Chalobah and Dan Gosling are likely to miss out through illness.
