Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this afternoon’s Premier League encounter against Watford in North London.
Tottenham head into the fixture with the incentive of knowing that if they can secure a victory, they will top the table at this early stage of the campaign heading into the international break.
Spurs are seeking a 300th home victory in the Premier League, with Nuno Espirito Santo could become just the second Tottenham boss to win his first three league games in charge. The only other man to do so was Arthur Rowe in 1949.
The Hornets’ last top-flight away win versus Tottenham was a 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane in May 1985.
Harry Kane makes his first Premier League start of the season in a front three with Heung-min Son and Steven Bergwijn, while Lucas Moura drops out of the starting eleven.
Here is a selection of thoughts from Spurs fans based on Nuno Espirito Santo’s team selection.
Good to have Kane back 😍! Feel for Lucas though, thought he had been playing well and would have kept him ahead of Stevie

Great team. Had a feeling Moura was going to drop to the bench following his game against wolves last week. Time to go top of the league. COYS

Good lineup but the fact that this team is no different to last season (except skipp) is worrying, I know we have new players on the bench but clearly we haven’t done enough in the transfer market
