Luka Vuskovic will join Tottenham Hotspur with the blessing of Hajduk Split’s academy chief Boro Primorac.
Fabrizio Romano took to X yesterday to reveal the Premier League side were on the verge of securing a deal for the highly-rated central defender, who has set his sights on a move to North London despite having attracted interest from a number of other top clubs.
Tottenham are rumoured to be paying a fee in the region of £12million for the 16-year-old, who will remain with the Croatian outfit until he turns 18 to continue his footballing development in his homeland (Evening Standard).
Vuskovic broke into the Hajduk Split first-team earlier this year and his performances have attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

Primorac, who has previously worked as a first-team coach at Arsenal while Arsene Wenger was in charge was asked about the future of the defender amid the speculation of a transfer to Tottenham.
He said when offering his response to(24Sata) with a smile: “I’m glad that our coaches made a great player. I wish him all the best (if Vuskovic joins Tottenham).
“The most important thing is that he plays. He is training with us, which is important for both Hajduk and Croatian football. I don’t know what is happening with the transfer.
“(But) it’s nice that Croatian players reach big clubs, like (Josko) Gvardiol and (Luka) Modric.”

Vuskovic is a top talent and it makes sense for him to remain at his current club to continue to evolve rather than uproot him at a young age and throw him into the academy set up at Tottenham.
