Tottenham Hotspur have to be patient to await the arrival of the highly-rated Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic
The 16-year-old is reported to be on the verge of a move to North London, however, he cannot link up with his new club until he turns 18, according to Football.London.
Vuskovic has attracted the interest of a number of top European clubs with Manchester City said to have had a bid of £10.2million rejected by Hajduk Split earlier this year.

Why won’t Luka Vuskovic move to Spurs this season?
The report claims that the reason behind why Vuskovic will remain with his current club until the summer of 2025 is down to FIFA’s rule which came following the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU through Brexit means that clubs in Britain are not able to sign players from abroad until they are 18 years old.
Vuskovic broke into the Hajduk Split first-team earlier this year despite only turning 16 years of age in February, with Tottenham said to have paid a fee in the region of £12million to win the race for his signature with personal terms already having been agreed (Evening Standard).

While Vuskovic appears to have a bright future ahead of him, the delay in his arrival will hopefully allow both Ashley Phillips and Alfie Dorrington ample time to be able to catch the eye of Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham’s next-generation of central defensive options.
