CalcioMercato have reported that Tottenham have opened talks with Juventus over signing Dejan Kulusevski but face competition from their North London rivals Arsenal for the winger.
Kulusevski has struggled for game time under Massimiliano Allegri so far this season, having started just two Serie A matches until now.
Previous reports from Italy have claimed that Fabio Paratici, who was instrumental in bringing the winger to Turin, could look to take him to Spurs in January.
Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Sports last week that Arsenal have also made contact with Juve over the Swede’s availability.
CalcioMercato have now provided an update on Kulusevski’s future, explaining that the 21-year-old is seen as ‘expendable’ by Allegri.
The report claims the Old Lady need to sell some players in order to fund moves for their own transfer targets and the winger could be one of the players sacrificed.
Tottenham and Arsenal have both said to have enquired about the player’s availability on a loan deal.
It is said that while Juventus are not against loaning Kulusevski, they would only do so if it comes with an obligation to buy for €35m (£29.7m).
Finally, the report adds that the former Parma winger ‘seems to have accepted’ that he needs to leave the Allianz Stadium in January to get regular game time under his belt.

Although Kulusevski is also capable of playing as a number eight, he is at his best when he plays wide on the right. That is why I do not see him as a natural fit for Conte’s style of play, with the Italian expecting his forwards to tuck in and relying on his wing-backs to provide the width.
