Italian outlet Leggo have revealed (as translated by Sport Witness) that Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are leading the race for Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski ahead of the January transfer window.

Kulusevski has struggled for game time at Juventus since Massimiliano Allegri took over from Andrea Pirlo in the summer.

It has been reported over recent months that Fabio Paratici, who was instrumental in bringing the winger to Turin, could look to take him to Spurs in January.

CalcioMercato reported at the start of December that Juve were open to cashing in on the 21-year-old in January while La Repubblica revealed last week that Arsenal officials are soon expected to travel to Italy to try and hammer out an agreement.

Leggo have now provided an update on Kulusevski’s future, explaining that Allegri is still focused on trying to get the best out of the Swedish international.

However, the report states that the winger ‘remains on the market’ in January if a suitable offer comes the Old Lady’s way.

It is asserted that the two North London clubs are ‘among the most interested’ in snapping up the former Atalanta wide-man.

Spurs Web Opinion

I am not among those on the Kulusevski hype train as I am not convinced he would be a good fit for Conte’s system.

However, the winger is clearly very talented and given that he is still only 21, has plenty of time to develop. So, I can certainly see why the likes of Spurs and Arsenal would be interested.
