According to the print edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (as relayed by CasaNapoli), Tottenham may be looking to swap Giovani Lo Celso for Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski in January.

Lo Celso has not made a single start for Tottenham under Antonio Conte, partly due to the Argentine’s injury woes

The midfielder has struggled to have a consistent run in the side barring the second-half of his first season at Spurs after a move from Real Betis in 2019.

Meanwhile, it has been reported over recent months that Tottenham are keen on snapping up Kulusevski, who has fallen down Massimiliano Allegri’s pecking order at Juventus this season.

Juve are alleged to be willing to cash in on the 21-year-old in January, with Spurs said to be facing competition from their North London rivals Arsenal for the Sweden international.

Gazzetta have now claimed that Tottenham’s managing director of football Fabio Paratici has proposed a Kulusevski-Lo Celso exchange idea to his former club.

Spurs Web Opinion

Lo Celso’s constant injury troubles over the last 18 months have prevented him from building any sort of momentum.

However, I doubt Conte would want to get rid of the Argentine before giving him opportunities to show what he could do. I believe Ndombele is more likely to leave the club than Lo Celso next month.
