Juventus winger, Dejan Kulusevski, has admitted he is happy to hear that the likes of Tottenham are interested in him but insisted he is only focused on doing well in his upcoming matches.

Kulusevski impressed during his first full season at Juventus last term after spending the 2019-20 season on loan at Parma.

The winger scoring seven times and registering seven assists in all competitions for the Old Lady last campaign.

It was reported during the summer transfer window that Fabio Paratici was keen on bringing the 21-year-old with him to Tottenham but the move never materialised.

The Mirror claimed last month that Spurs were continuing to keep an eye on the Swedish international ahead of January, with the North London club even sending scouts to watch him in action this season.

Kulusevski has been restricted to a bit-part role in Turin this season under new boss Massimiliano Allegri, with sources suggesting that a January exit might be on the cards for the youngster if his situation does not change.

Kulusevski has now admitted that he is happy to hear of clubs being interested in his services but reiterated he is focused on the here and now.

When asked about Spurs’ rumoured interest in him, the winger told Aftonbladet: “There will always be rumours when you play football.

“It’s good that more teams are interested – but that’s not something I think about.

“I only focus on the next match, otherwise you don’t enjoy (playing).”

Spurs Web Opinion

Kulusevski does fit the profile of players Paratici pursued during the summer transfer window as part of the Tottenham rebuild.

The fact that the Italian knows the winger well, having worked with him at Juve, suggests that there is some truth behind the rumours of Spurs’ interest in the 21-year-old.
