Due to the arrival of Fabio Parartici as the club’s new managing director of football in the summer, Tottenham have been linked with a potential £51m double swoop for Juventus duo Weston McKennie and Dejan Kulusevski.
Calciomercato report that Juventus spent around €40m on Kulusevski two years ago, although the Swedish star is yet to convince Max Allegri (Sport Witness).
The report claims that the idea would be a possible loan exit with an obligation to sign Kulusevski for a similar amount to what Juventus paid for him, or perhaps a little less.
CalcioMercato mention Spurs in the report by stating: ‘there is always Fabio Paratici’s Tottenham, who could put its hand to the rich wallet and bring him home’.
As for McKennie, the price tag is said to be no less than €20m, although Juventus are seeking buyers immediately due to his ‘off-field behaviour’.
Again, Spurs are mentioned here as the report states: ‘especially Tottenham, where there is the former director of football Fabio Paratici, who brought him to Juventus just one season ago’.
Sport Witness claim there is a belief Paratici could set up €60m worth of deals, if Tottenham open their wallets and put faith in his knowledge of the players.
Spurs Web Opinion:
Buying players another big club is desperate to get rid of is always a risk. Why are they so keen on selling? If Kulusevski is not good enough for Juventus, would he make it in the Premier League? If McKennie is causing issues at Juventus, would he do the same at Spurs?
