Sky Sport Italia have claimed that Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham, has been the subject of an approach from Arsenal.

Kulusevski was alleged to be on Tottenham’s radar during the summer transfer window but the 21-year-old ended up staying put at the Allianz Stadium.

However, the winger has struggled for game time this season having started just two Serie A matches so far.

CalcioMercato reported earlier this week that Spurs are one of the clubs keeping an eye on the Swedish international ahead of the January transfer window.

The report claimed Juve are open to cashing in on the midfielder if they receive a bid of around €35m (£29.9m) in January.

Sky Sport Italia have now stated that Arsenal have become the latest club to enter the race for Kulusevski. It is explained that Mikel Arteta’s side have launched ‘a first survey’ for the 21-year-old ahead of January.

However, the report adds that it ‘remains to be seen’ whether Massimiliano Allegri will be ready to sacrifice Kulusevski when the transfer window reopens in a month and a half.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Kulusevski has a straight choice between Spurs and Arsenal, I would fancy us to win the race for the 21-year-old, particularly given the pull of Conte.

However, I suspect the Swede ranks fairly low down Tottenham’s wishlist, behind the likes of Frank Kessie, Weston McKennie and Marcelo Brozovic.
