According to a report by Il Messaggero (as relayed by Tutto Juve), Juventus are now planning on using Dejan Kulusevski as part of their operation to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.

Tottenham have the option to sign Kulusevski permanently for £30m this summer, which the North London club have not activated so far.

On Friday, it was reported by London World journalist Rahman Osman that the Lilywhites were locked in negotiations with Juve to look to bring the price down.

Osman claimed that Tottenham were trying to snap up Kulusevski for just £25m after failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Juventus have other ideas for Dejan Kulusevski

It remains to be seen how Juve will respond to Tottenham’s request but if Il Messaggero’s latest update is to be believed, the Serie A club are already planning for the eventuality that Spurs will not sign the Swede.

The publication asserts that the Old Lady are now considering offering the 23-year-old and Luca Pellegrini to Lazio in a swap deal to bring Milinkovic-Savic to the Allianz Stadium.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is understandable why Spurs want to try and bring Kulusevski’s price down and get the best deal possible.

However, the longer we wait to snap up the 23-year-old, the more the risk some other Champions League club coming in for the winger and turning his head.
