Sporting are demanding a €35million fee if they are to sanction the sale of Pedro Porro, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Portuguese news outlet O Jogo claim that Tottenham are prepared to make a move for the right wing-back during the January transfer window and have already begun to accelerate negotiations for the player who has a release clause of €45million (£39.4million – AS).
90min have previously reported that Tottenham are in the market for another right-sided defender despite having signed Djed Spence during the summer and already have Matt Doherty and Emerson Royal within their ranks.
Porro, a Spanish international, spent the last two seasons on loan with the Sporting before making a permanent move from Manchester City earlier this summer, having failed to make a senior appearance at the Eithad.

Porro did impress during both of Sporting’s Champions League matches this season when the Portuguese side took four points off Tottenham during the group stage.
Conte’s side are crying out for an attack-minded right wing-back who can prove to be a difference in the opposition half, something which Emerson Royal has shown he is incapable of.
