Football London have reported that Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou will analyse the current crop of wing-backs this summer ahead of the new Premier League season.
Postecoglou arrives from Celtic with a clear pattern of play, with the Australian preferring to line up in a 4-3-3, which becomes a two-at-the-back formation in attack as the full-backs tuck into midfield.

This requires the starting left-back and right-back to be very comfortable on the ball in tight areas, rather than wide attackers who can get up and down the pitch as they were under Antonio Conte.
Postecoglou will analyse Porro, Udogie, and others
As such, Spurs and Postecoglou will apparently analyse which wing-backs will make better full-backs and which will make better wingers for the new season.
Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie predominantly played as wing-backs last season, while the likes of Ben Davies and Emerson Royal seem more comfortable in the back line.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I can see Udogie being given some minutes at left-back, but maybe Pedro Porro will end up being used more as a winger, as he was towards the end of the last season under Ryan Mason. His strengths seem to be out wide when delivering crosses, getting into the box, and creating goals.
