Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Cameron Carter-Vickers has left the club on loan for the remainder of the season.
The central defender has joined Championship outfit Luton Town, who currently find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table.
Carter-Vickers spent the first half of the campaign on loan at fellow Championship outfit Stoke City but was recalled earlier this month after failing to hold down a regular place in the side following the arrival of new manager Michael O’Neill.
The USA international has plenty of loan experience over the past two-and-a-half seasons having also spent time at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City.
The 22-year-old Spurs academy product has found himself down in the defensive pecking order in North London behind the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Juan Foyth, Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez.
Carter-Vickers has made four senior appearances for the Champions League finalists after turning professional in 2015 (Dunstable Today).
