Some Luton Town fans have raved about the impact that Cameron Carter-Vickers has made since joining the club on loan after the Championship side managed to pull off a late escape from relegation this week.
Luton have been rooted to the relegation spots for a huge chunk of the season and it looked for a long time as though they were destined for the drop.
However, a fantastic run of form in the final period of the season, combined with some poor results for the likes of Wigan and Charlton, meant that Nathan Jones’ side preserved their Championship status for another year.
Some fans were convinced that it was Carter-Vickers’ arrival that proved the difference for the club as their defensive record improved considerably after the defender joined in January.
The USA international has been a mainstay in the Luton backline on the back of a disappointing first half of the season at Stoke.
Some Luton fans were desperate for the club to sign the Spurs academy graduate permanently in the summer.

Big congratulations goes to Cameron Carter-Vickers. In January, the U.S. U-23 centerback joined a Luton Town team destined to be relegated with a significant hole in last place. CCV started 15 games for #LTFC and the club's record was 6W, 6D, 3L. He was a huge reason for survival

Last third of the season saw Luton post play-off form and whilst Rea's return and Sluga realising he's a fucking top keeper played a part in that, Carter-Vickers' arrival was the key factor for me. Hopefully we can get him back next year

Spurs Web Opinion
Carter-Vickers’ career was in danger of petering out after the way things went for him at Stoke. However, the central defender has rediscovered himself since his move to Luton and is showing signs of fulfilling the promise that he has been showing from his days as a youngster at Spurs. I expect Spurs to sell the defender this summer as he will turn 23 next season and really needs to be playing regularly if he is to continue his development.
