Highly-rated Spurs academy graduate, Elliot Thorpe, has taken to social media to send a message to the fans, the staff at Tottenham and his former teammates.
The youngster decided to part ways with Spurs earlier this summer, even rejecting the offer of a new contract in order to search for more regular first-team minutes.
It has now also been reported that Thorpe is set to sign for Championship side Luton Town, despite interest from Cardiff City and Bristol City.
The Wales U21 player will link up with compatriot Nathan Jones at Luton, who was apparently a key factor in the decision to move to Kenilworth Road.
Reports suggest that Luton hope to complete the deal as early as today and have Thorpe ready in time for the clash against Bournemouth this weekend.
Thorpe’s message on social media claimed he grew from a boy to a man during his nine years at Spurs and made memories that will remain with him forever.

Spurs Web Opinion:
While it is never nice to see a highly-rated starlet leave the club, it sounds like the best decision for Thorpe to get some regular first-team minutes. Everyone at The Spurs Web would like to wish him the very best for the future. Hopefully, we will see you again one day.
