TEAMtalk have claimed that a whole host of Championship clubs are battling it out for Tottenham winger Jack Clarke in January.
Since arriving at Tottenham in a £10m deal in the summer of 2019, Clarke has spent much of his time out on loan.
The 20-year-old had unsuccessful spells at Leeds United and QPR during the 2019/20 campaign but the winger did show some promise during his loan spell at Stoke City in the second half of last season.
However, the youngster has made just one senior appearance for the Lilywhites this campaign after the club decided not to loan him out this summer.
The Leeds academy graduate was an unused substitute in Tottenham’s clash against Vitesse two weeks ago, after which he took to Instagram after the game to post what seemed to be a cryptic message about his lack of game time.
According to TEAMtalk, several Championship clubs have expressed an interest in snapping up the Leeds academy graduate in January.
Barnsley, Derby County, Millwall and Luton Town are all thought to be keen on signing Clarke but it is not mentioned in the report if these clubs would like to sign him on loan or strike a permanent deal.
Spurs Web Opinion
Even though it is pretty clear that Clarke is not going to make it at Spurs, I suspect the club would want to loan him out in January rather than sell him permanently. They will be hoping that the 20-year-old impresses on loan so that a Championship club would pay decent value (around £5m) for him in the summer.
