Football Insider have revealed that two clubs from the Championship and two clubs from League One have expressed interest in signing Tottenham midfielder Harvey White on loan.
White has made 10 Tottenham’s Under-21s this season, having scored once (Transfermarkt) and the midfielder has also been in named in Antonio Conte’s matchday squad on several occasions. The 21-year-old was handed his Premier League debut by the Italian earlier this month in Spurs’ 4-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Football Insider claim that Tottenham are willing to send the midfielder out on loan for the second half of the campaign in order that he gets regular competitive minutes under his belt.
It is revealed that Championship duo, West Bromwich Albion and Luton Town, and League One pair, Oxford United and Barnsley, are batting it out to snap up the player before this evening’s transfer deadline.
The publication adds that Spurs and White are now assessing the various options before deciding which club to join prior to the window slamming shut.

While White is arguably ready for the Championship, I would not be surprised if Tottenham opt to loan him to a League One club since the priority for the north London club and the player would to ensure that he gets regular starts in the next few months.
