Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine are both likely to get first-team minutes for Spurs next season.
Both Scarlett and Devine have already made their senior bows this campaign, with Devine becoming the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history when he netted in Tottenham’s 5-0 FA Cup win over Marine.
Scarlett has been scoring goals for fun for the Under-18s this season and Mourinho has already said that he wants the striker to be part of the first-team next season.
Gold claims that, since both players are too young to be sent out on loan, they could get minutes for the first-team in cup competitions next season.
However, the journalist suggests that Ryan Sessegnon could spend another season out on loan, with Sergio Reguilon and Ben Davies both ahead of the England Under-21 international in the pecking order.
Gold also added that Parrott may also be set to go out on loan again, with Scarlett moving ahead of him in the pecking order.
Spurs Web Opinion
Devine and Scarlett seem to be the two academy players Mourinho and his coaching staff are most excited by. Dennis Cirkin has also been unlucky with injuries this season and I would expect the youngster to be handed some minutes in the cup competitions next season if he is not loaned out.
