Tottenham Hotspur star striker Harry Kane missed the FA Cup match against Marine yesterday evening as his side eased to a 5-0 victory over the non-league club.
However, the goalscoring machine was certainly watching on at home and made sure to send congratulatory messages to his teammates, Marine FC, and Alfie Devine at full-time.
Spurs took the lead early in the game when Dele Alli crossed into Carlos Vinicius, who mis-controlled but recovered in time to past it home.
The Brazilian made it 2-0 in similar fashion when slamming home a rebound from Matt Doherty’s shot, before his fellow countryman, Lucas Moura curled in a beautiful free-kick to make it three just minutes later.
Vinicius secured his hat-trick with a lovely lofted effort towards the end of the first half and Mourinho took the opportunity to give some youngsters a run out, including Alfie Devine.
The 16-year-old managed to get himself on the scoresheet in the second half to become Tottenham’s youngest-ever goalscorer, earning a round of applause from Kane.
Well done lads – very professional performance. Congrats to @MarineAFC on a great cup run. https://t.co/lrfh2SY4Wb
