Tottenham Hotspur are currently in advanced negotiations with Everton over a deal for Richarlison, according to Brazilian news outlet UOL.

The report suggests that Spurs have tabled a €60million (£51.2million) offer for the 25-year-old with the player already holding talks over personal terms.

Goal Brasil claimed last month that Richarlison wants to leave Goodison Park this summer in order to compete for silverware, with his intention of remaining in the Premier League.

Richarlison is under contract with the Toffees until 2024 and scored 10 goals in 30 Premier League matches last season after his side narrowly avoided relegation under Frank Lampard (transfermarkt).

SpursWeb Opinion

Would Richarlison really be prepared to play second fiddle to Harry Kane at Tottenham, rather than being the main focal point of attack at Everton or another Premier League club?

Spurs do not have an infinite amount of money to spend this summer and are more likely to shell out a big amount on a new left-sided central defender which is a much higher priority to improve our starting eleven, rather than a back-up forward.
