According to 90 min, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to launch an opening offer for Everton striker Richarlison sometime this week.

It was previously reported that Antonio Conte wants to sign a forward who can operate across the front three (The Telegraph) and multiple reports over the weekend have suggested that Richarlison is on Spurs’ radar.

Brazilian publication UOL Esporte reported on Saturday that negotiations between Everton and Tottenham for the 25-year-old are at an advanced stage and that the forward had already begun contract talks with the Lilywhites.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein subsequently confirmed Spurs’ interest in the Richarlison but he insisted that Conte’s men have not submitted an offer for the Everton star, and will only sign him for what they deem to be the right price.

90 min have now stated that the Brazilian international is seeking a move away from Goodison Park as he is keen to play in the Champions League.

It is alleged that Richarlison changed his agent back in April to ensure that he gets a transfer this summer.

The report asserts that the Toffees have offered the forward to clubs across the Premier League and Europe, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain thought to have shown interest.

90 min add that Spurs are keen on snapping up Richarlison and are expected to make an opening bid at some point this week.

Spurs Web Opinion

Richarlison seems to split opinion among Spurs fans but I believe he is the next best option we can go for after Gabriel Jesus.

Conte wants a forward, who will be effective centrally as well as on the flanks, which Richarlison has shown to be at Goodison Park.

The Everton star is also proven in the Premier League and is a tireless worker off the ball, which I believe would make him a very good fit for Conte’s set-up.
