Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Everton are demanding around £64m for Richarlison amidst Tottenham’s interest.

Reports first emerged over the weekend suggesting that Tottenham were in for Richarlison, with 90 min claiming that the North Londoners were set to launch an opening offer for the Brazilian.

However, the Athletic’s David Ornstein reported that the Lilywhites would only sign the 25-year-old if he is available for the right price.

The Telegraph reported on Sunday that Everton will only let the forward leave this summer if they receive an offer well over the £50m fee they paid to sign him from Watford four years ago.

The report suggested that despite Richarlsion having just two years left on his contract at Goodison Park, the Toffees were determined not to sell him for a fee below what they deemed to be his market value.

Romano has now revealed that the forward’s agent has spoken to Spurs, who are really keen on snapping him up. However, the journalist stated that Frank Lampard’s men want a whopping €70m- €75m (£60m-£64.2m) to let the player leave this summer.

Romano told CaughtOffside: “Richarlison is a player that the new agents have talked about with Tottenham, as with other clubs.

“However, the club wants €70-75m (£60m-£64.2m) as an opening price tag, so far it has not received offers at this level. Tottenham are not the only club interested, but Spurs have a real interest in Richarlison.”

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think there is any chance of Spurs paying upwards of £60m for Richarlison. Everton would be hoping to get a bidding war going so that the forward’s price goes up, but the Toffees will likely soften their stance later in the window as they need to sell players in order to make moves for Lampard’s targets.
