Football Insider have claimed that Fulham have now launched an offer of £30m including add-ons to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports of Fulham’s interest in Hojbjerg first emerged on Thursday when The Daily Mail reported that the Cottagers were prepared to challenge Atletico Madrid for the player’s services.
The outlet added that the Dane was also attracting later interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Fulham launch offer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Football Insider have now claimed that Fulham have submitted their opening offer to sign Hojbjerg, who Marco Silva has identified as a potential replacement for Joao Palhinha.
The outlet claims that the West London club also have their eye on other alternatives, including Man Utd’s Scott McTominay and Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.
The report states that Spurs are keen to offload Hojbjerg and are holding out for a straight £30m fee for the former Southampton man.
It is alleged that after failing to start any of Tottenham’s Premier League matches so far this season, the midfielder is keen to seal an exit before tonight’s transfer deadline.
Spurs Web Opinion
If Tottenham do manage to offload Hojbjerg today, there is no doubt that the club will have to bring another midfielder through the door. So, hopefully, they have another backup lined up in case a deal for Conor Gallagher does not materialize.
